“Duncan’s Heating and AC is over-the-top! I have done business with them since 2013; and they have been great. I first contracted them as a 1 year installed Central Air and Heat System was installed by a company in Grass Valley no longer wanted to come to my homeband doing any servicing anymore. I was dumbfounded to say the least. A few months after the “Coleman System was installed the system shutdown; the Grass Valley Contractor did come out; said the mother board was fried. It took 3 months to get one. Only one year of service. This one did last a year, and they claimed too busy. I searched around and contacted Duncan’s. They got out in a couple days. Motherboard again, they found that the Coleman was not making parts for these residential systems. Got a universal one and installed it. I had them do servicing all the time afterwards. 2024 the system went out again. I had purchased a house warranty through American Shield…what a joke. They called a guy out who spent 4 months whining about what the issue could be…claimed no codes were listed, but he felt it was the blower. I contacted Am. Shield demanded different guy. They agreed but I had to pay $200.00, I did not care. The day second company was to come no one arrived, called I was told insurance cancelled. Called Am Shield, was told the first Company sent report finally. They told me it was the blower and they would pay $255.00 for the replacement part, but because the guy Jason also detailed $9000.00 for modifications. I told the insurance guy he was stupid; that a new unit should be bought they refused. Closed account. Called Duncan’s. Arrived next day. Blower out., system obsolete, no parts, should have been replaced. Duncan’s service guy informed me he could rebuild it, but they could not guarantee how long it would last, but hoped it would give me time to be able to replace unit. The blower rebuild gave me two years to build up credit and put back money so I could handle everything, without getting a huge loan. Needless to say I had Duncan’s put in the new system. Duncan’s Heating and AC Co. is a small company and absolutely all about good service. Every person from them I’ve dealt with has been highly professional, polite, friendly, respectful and knows what they are doing. They are the only people I have servicing my unit.
